A Housewife’s Tale episode 91

This housewife is getting really spoilt! Lotsa eating out (and playing tour guide) and not very much cooking at all! Something has to change!!

.

Sunday – Met up w Joyce for dinner~ We were just hanging out together in Edmonton for Mike’s wedding and found out she was in town to visit her brother~ So we made dinner plans @ Yakitori Kokko.

After dinner, we picked up some dessert in downtown San Mateo~

Mango crepe and cold dessert combination.

.

.

Monday – It was a cold gloomy day so I made some kimchi stew with vermicelli.

.

.

Tuesday – Took Joyce & her sister around San Jose and Milpitas for some eats and shopping. We picked up some Falafel, which we never had. So the owner was nice enough to give us a sample.

For dinner, we had some instant noodles because by the time I got home from playing tour guide it was early evening.

.

.

Wednesday – Meep mentioned a while back that we haven’t had spam in a while. So I picked up some from Food Maxx and made my favourite spam & onion omelet over rice.

.

.

Thursday – Meep and I were not feeling great so I made some Chicken congee with century egg and preserved lettuce.

.

.

Friday – Meep’s older sister J was in town w a friend so I took them around while Meep was at work. We picked up some lunch at Los Gatos Cafe which was way too much food because I forgot about their gigantic servings!

For dinner, we had Crawdaddy which is my favourite thing to introduce to out of towners. Look at the carnage~

.

.

Saturday – Drove to Napa Valley and before that, we picked up some Falafel & Lamb Kebab’s from the Falafel Drive in~

Snacks at V Sattui Winery. Truffle pate and Brie with truffles.

Dinner was at Sumika. (Yes, we were splurging that day~ :D)

.

Meep and I were talking about how we have been eating out a lot, to the point where I have over 35 food reviews queued up! I got to start cooking more and now that we have no expected visitors or trips until August, it should be ok~
