A Housewife’s Tale episode 83

It has been a good week of eating, shopping and living the life~ ๐Ÿ™‚ And working on my reviews from all the eating I did in my 2 month trip back to Brunei and my week trip in New York City. I have a list of over 35 reviews. That just seems excessive, no?

.

Sunday – As usual we start of Sunday with breakfast/brunch~ I haven’t made Meepy Cinnamon strawberry pancakes in a while, so that is what he got~ ๐Ÿ™‚

Then for dinner, we saw some freshly prepared Rotisserie chicken so we bought one. Served with rice and bacon wrapped asparagus.

Look at how juicy that chicken breasts is. Yummm…

.

.

Monday – Sinigang with pork ribs~

and grilled lemongrass pork chops. It was so warm that out that I just had to use the bbq along w some sauteed garlic asparagus.

.

.

Tuesday – I went grocery shopping and saw wonton skins, which made me realise we have not had wonton in a while. Made wonton with tossed noodles for Meep.

Wonton soup noodle for myself

.

.

Wednesday – I asked Meep what he wanted for dinner and he said black bean pork ribs. His all time favourite (he almost finished this whole bowl and only left me a few pieces!!)

.

.

Thursday – Went to Choi’s Kitchen for dinner w SK & A~ Had the usual Kalbi, tofu soup and bibimbap~

.

.

Friday – There was a power outage in some parts of San Jose, including our building. So Meep suggested Santouka for some Ramen! Why not..

We ordered the usual Toroniku set, mine w Spicy miso broth and his with Salt broth.

.

.

Saturday – April 2nd is the day Miss Housewife got a car! My very first car, but no… I don’t have a driver’s license yet but Meep bought me one since it is necessary when for me to practise driving before my test and for work (when I can start working). ๐Ÿ™‚ Before that we checked out SJEats, which was a gong show so we ended up in Sushi Infinity for lunch.

Then for dinner, we headed back to SJ Eats. And after 2.5 hours of waiting in lines – we got some Chicken Tikka Masala Burrito, deconstructed samosa from Curry up now

Tacos, a burrito and sliders from Mogo’s.

What a day!

.

Till next week (as I work on the backlog of reviews)
